I love my camera. It's small and handy, useful for ANY occasions. My kids are spontaneous beings. I am able to take a photo of them quickly with this camera if I catch them in cute actions. The video function is cool too! It's value for money!

Hi, I have an older model: the Ixus 40. It still works, but it's with my sis now. My current camera is a Nikon Coolpix 70. It's just a pity that Canon doesn't do models with the lens assembly located entirely inside the camera body. That sort of design is a lot more dust-resistant. I basically got turned off cameras with pop-out lenses after my Canon Powershot came back from Canon with message: defect due to user fault: dust in lens assembly. They refused to honour the warranty on that ground.
